When we first moved to Montana, my husband was not wanting to stay very long. I, on the other hand, believed that the Lord had brought us here for a longer season. As we struggled with missing loved ones and trying to decide where we were going to land, we continued to come across stories and messages about blooming where you are planted. It is a very common cliche' but it hit home with us. Over a two year period, my husband struggled with putting down roots and then began to make peace with our being here. He has made friends and begun to grow fond of our new home. He loves his job and has finally begun to bloom here. I came across this quilt in a Fons and Porter magazine and knew that it needed to be on our wall. I enjoyed making it with all the bright colors and it was nice to be able to put it up for Dear Hubby to see every day and be encouraged by.
